                 Information About Mediation

Some things you may not know. By Texas State law you have the right to use mediation as an alternative to what could be lengthy and expensive litigation to settle your civil or family disputes. The mediation process is confidential and protected from revealing anything that is said or occurs in mediation with a few exceptions. First, information revealed in mediation is confidential unless it was otherwise discoverable outside of the mediation setting. Second confidentiality is excluded regarding crimes, and acts of abuse and violence.

Something you should know. The resulting Mediation Settlement Agreement is  legally binding on all clients who sign it. Clients are not required to use or have attorneys, but it is recommended to seek legal, financial, real estate, or tax advise by licensed professionals at any time you feel it is necessary.
Remember to keep your wording friendly, approachable and easy to understand… you are writing this for lots of different types of people to read and you want to appeal to them all.
